Pablo E. Galardy
Paralegal

 

Pablo E. Galardy is a bilingual legal assistant at the immigration law firm De Maio Law. Pablo immigrated from Cuba to South Florida with his family. He earned his first law degree in Cuba and later continued his studies in Miami. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law for Foreign Lawyers, Summa Cum Laude.

Pablo is currently preparing to obtain his attorney license in the state of Wisconsin. During his law studies, he completed internships at the Immigration Clinic, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting low-income immigrants with their immigration needs. He was also a member of the Immigration Law Organization and participated in numerous community events.

Elizbeth Yera
Paralegal Assistant

 

Elizbeth Yera is a bilingual legal assistant at the immigration law firm De Maio Law. Originally from Cuba, Elizabeth moved to the United States at the age of 10, an experience that gave her a personal understanding of the immigration journey. This background has fueled her deep passion for immigration law and her aspiration to become an immigration attorney.

Elizabeth earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University in 2024 and is committed to making a difference for those seeking a better life in the United States.

Her Cuban heritage and the challenges she and her parents faced as immigrants are the foundation of her desire to help others navigate the complexities of the immigration process. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, and volunteering with local organizations that support immigrants. In her free time, she also enjoys biking and reading books on social justice topics.

Angélica López
Administrative Assistant
 

As an Administrative Assistant at De Maio Law, PLLC, Angélica brings a bilingual, client-centered approach to the delivery of immigration law services. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in International Business Administration, combining strong academic training with more than 20 years of professional experience. Her career has been defined by a deep passion for helping others and extensive experience in Customer Service, Logistics, and Operations.

At De Maio Law, she manages responsibilities such as payment processing, invoice issuance, and oversight of the firm’s ERP system to support client service operations. She is passionate about discipline, resource optimization, and process efficiency. Her dedication to problem-solving allows her to provide empathetic and effective service. She values patience and personal growth, reflected in her love for gardening. Exploring diverse cuisines and advocating for human rights further enrich her work with creativity and purpose.

Fernando Pérez
Designer, Content Creator & Videographer

 

With more than 22 years of experience in graphic design, audiovisual production, and digital communications, Fernando brings to De Maio Law a strategic and creative approach to brand management and content development for law firms. He has worked in both Chile and the United States under an H1B1 visa, collaborating with immigration law firms and strengthening their digital presence and connection with the Hispanic community.

His experience spans graphic design, content marketing, video marketing, web design, professional photography, and social media management. Fernando combines creativity, visual storytelling, and digital strategy to convey complex legal messages in a clear, empathetic, and visually compelling way. His attention to detail and passion for innovation make him a key pillar of the firm’s communications strategy.

In his free time, he enjoys traveling and creating content for his YouTube channel La Reporcleta, where he shares stories about cultural heritage, local figures, and tourist destinations, featuring content from both Miami and Chile.
