Pablo E. Galardy is a Cuban attorney serving as a Law Clerk at De Maio Immigration Law under the supervision of Senior Attorney Viktor A. De Maio.
Pablo emigrated from Cuba to South Florida with his family and earned his first law degree in Cuba. He later continued his legal education in the United States, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law.
During his studies, he interned with the Immigration Clinic, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting low-income immigrants. He was also an active member of the Immigration Law Organization and participated in numerous community initiatives related to immigration law. He is currently in the process of obtaining licensure to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.

Elizbeth Yera
Paralegal Assistant
Elizbeth Yera is a bilingual Paralegal Assistant at De Maio Immigration Law. Originally from Cuba, she moved to the United States at the age of 10 — an experience that gave her a personal understanding of the immigration process. This background has fueled her passion for immigration law and her aspiration to become an immigration attorney.
Elizabeth earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University in 2024 and is committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those seeking a better future in the United States.
Her Cuban heritage and the challenges she and her family faced as immigrants inspire her dedication to helping others navigate the complexities of the immigration system. Outside of work, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, exploring different cuisines, volunteering with local organizations that support immigrant communities, biking, and reading about social justice issues.

Angelica Lopez
Administrative Assistant
Angelica Lopez serves as Administrative & Financial Operations Manager at De Maio Immigration Law, where she plays a key role in ensuring the firm’s operational efficiency and financial integrity. She brings a bilingual, client-centered approach to immigration law services, combining strategic administration with personalized client support.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in International Business Administration, supported by more than 20 years of professional experience in customer service, logistics, and operations management. Her background allows her to integrate organizational strategy with disciplined financial oversight.
At the firm, Angélica oversees payment processing, invoice management, and bookkeeping, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. She also supervises internal systems and operational workflows to optimize efficiency and enhance the client experience.
Driven by a passion for continuous improvement and service excellence, Angélica approaches every responsibility with professionalism and empathy. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, exploring diverse cuisines, and supporting initiatives that promote human rights — interests that reflect her dedication to growth, cultural awareness, and purposeful impact.

Jessica T. Ramos
Senior Business Visa Paralegal
is a senior business immigration paralegal with over 10 years of experience supporting complex employment-based immigration cases and EB-5 investor-related matters. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Florida International University and a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Miami.
Jessica has worked with boutique immigration firms, as well as national and international law firms, assisting multinational corporations, investors, executives, entrepreneurs, and highly skilled professionals. Her experience contributes to the preparation of clear and well-documented applications in sophisticated business immigration cases.
Her experience in employment-based immigration includes E-1/E-2, EB-1A, EB-1C, EB-2 National Interest Waiver, H-1B/H-1B1/E-3, J-1, L-1A/L-1B (including L “blanket” petitions), O-1, P-1, PERM labor certifications, TN and B-1 business visas, as well as adjustment of status applications and consular processes.
Jessica also has extensive experience in EB-5 investor immigration, including source of funds analysis and preparation of I-526/I-526E and I-829 petitions for direct and regional center projects.

Fernando Pérez

With more than 22 years of experience in graphic design, audiovisual production, and digital communications, Fernando leads brand strategy and content development at De Maio Immigration Law. He brings a strategic and creative vision to law firm marketing, strengthening the firm’s digital presence and connection with the Hispanic community.
Fernando has worked in both Chile and the United States under an H1B1 visa, collaborating with immigration law firms and developing culturally informed communication strategies tailored to immigrant audiences. His international professional experience gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of immigration, storytelling, and community engagement.
His expertise spans graphic design, content marketing, video production, web design, professional photography, and social media strategy. He combines visual storytelling and digital strategy to translate complex legal concepts into clear, empathetic, and visually compelling messaging. His precision, innovation, and strategic mindset make him an essential pillar of the firm’s communications and growth strategy.
Outside of work, Fernando enjoys traveling and producing content for his YouTube channel, La Reporcleta, where he shares stories about cultural heritage, local leaders, and tourist destinations in both Miami and Chile.
